About Us
The International Orphanage Union is a Non Government Organization (NGO) recognized by the Bolivian Government and a 501c3 charitable organization in the United States. We are dedicated to caring for orphaned children, connecting them with God and finding them a Christian home to grow with their new family and faith. Our organization is funded through the sales of Bolivia’s Best Coffee with 100% of all profits directly supporting the ministry to orphaned children.
Mission Statement
Providing Christian homes for the orphaned and abandoned
Our Goals
- First and foremost…introduce children to God.
- Provide the loving, secure environment that demonstrates the love of Christ through basic human needs.
- It is also our desire to create an atmosphere as close to God’s model as possible: a Christian couple raising a family of eight to twelve children.
- Whenever possible, accept children of both genders, young enough so they can be raised as brothers and sisters.
- Similar to our families; welcome each child in these homes until they attend university, get married or can provide for themselves
- God’s tool on earth is His Church; so we will always partner with the local Church allowing for the greater development and support of the larger Christian family.
- Have children attend the neighborhood public school allowing them to maintain their cultural heritage.
- Through the gifts of Christians around the world open 50 homes by the year 2016.
- God willing, all the homes will be supported by non-profit businesses established solely for the purpose of providing for the monthly expenses of His children.
- James 1:27 instructs us to “…look after the orphans and widows in their distress…” It is our deepest desire that a Christian family will be found for each orphan; however, we will care for the others until Christ returns.
