Our Vision
The vision of IOU Bolivia is to establish family size orphanages affiliated with a neighborhood church for discipleship and spiritual support. We create homes for 10 orphans each and raise them in a Christian setting by Bolivian Christian house parents. The goal is to provide the environment for these children to build a personal relationship with Christ as they grow.
Why Bolivia?
We chose to help the children of Bolivia because it is the most impoverished country in South America and the second poorest in the Western Hemisphere. The lack of orphanages and extreme poverty forces many tribes and communities to abandon the sanctity of life and allow newborn babies to die in the freezing temperatures of the mountains or be cast into the rivers of the Amazon. IOU strives to keep this from happening and welcome God’s children into one of our homes to embrace life.
